Getting Started
Admins can now manage whether users in your organization can connect their Kudos accounts to their Microsoft 365 account, specifically for Teams and Outlook. This is helpful if you're not ready to launch the integration company-wide or if you need to temporarily disable access.
This setting controls access to the integration from within Kudos and also prevents users from connecting their Kudos account directly in MS 365. If you want to entirely restrict downloading the Kudos app in the Microsoft 365 app store, that must be configured directly in Microsoft 365 admin settings.
For full setup steps, including how users can link their account, refer to this article: How to link my Kudos account to my Microsoft 365 (Teams and Outlook) account

- Users will be able to re-install the app (if previously uninstalled) and reconnect their accounts

Helpful Tips & Ideas
- Disabling access affects all users immediately—no need to manually disconnect accounts
- Toggling the setting back ON re-enables the integration option without needing to reinstall the app however, users will need to reconnect their Kudos accounts
- This setting will prevent users from connecting their accounts but it does not prevent them from installing the Kudos app via the Microsoft 365 store; you can manage that directly in Microsoft 365 if needed
- Consider communicating this change to users if they’re already using the integration
