Getting Started
Recognition is a simple and meaningful way to show appreciation for your colleagues. Whether someone went above and beyond, helped you with a project, or consistently brings positivity to the team, sending recognition lets them know their efforts are valued. Recognition strengthens connections, builds morale, and creates a culture of appreciation at work.
When to Use This Feature
- Thank a teammate who helped you meet a tight deadline
- Celebrate a colleague who demonstrated a company value in their work
- Recognize someone for taking initiative on a project
- Appreciate a coworker who supported you during a challenging task
Step-by-Step Instructions
You can recognize someone at any time from anywhere in the platform by clicking on the Recognize someone button.
- Use the search function to find the recognition recipient(s).
- Add a meaningful recognition message - if you need help finding the right words, provide some basic context and click Refine with AI.
- Select at least 1 quality that best aligns with the action you're recognizing.
- If applicable, add a point value that best represents the recognition you're giving. E.g. a casual "thanks for your help" recognition should earn fewer points than a "you were a life-saver!" recognition.
- Click Send. (You can schedule the recognition message to send at a later time by clicking on the down arrow next to the send button, select schedule send and then set your date and time)
Note: Points are optional and may not be enabled in your organization.
