Your profile is where you manage your personal information, security settings, and preferences in Kudos. Keeping your profile updated ensures your name, photo, and language are correct, your time zone matches your location, and your account stays secure with multifactor authentication (MFA). Setting up your profile also makes it easier for colleagues to recognize and connect with you.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Access your profile information
- Click on your profile icon in the top corner.
- Select My settings.
Update your profile picture
- Click on Upload image.
- Select an image from your device.
Update your name
- Edit your first and last name in the available fields.
- Click Save.
Update your language preference
- Select your preferred language from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save.
Update your timezone
- Select your timezone from the dropdown menu.
- Click Save.
Set up multifactor authentication (MFA)
MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account. You can choose between an authenticator app or SMS text message.
Authenticator app
- Click on Add MFA method.
- Select Authenticator app.
- Open your authenticator app on your mobile device and scan the barcode and click next.
- Enter the code displayed on your mobile device.
SMS text message
- Click on Add MFA method.
- Select SMS text to mobile device.
- Enter your mobile number and click Send.
- Enter the login code you receive on your mobile device in the activation code field.
Change your password
- Click on Change password.
- Enter your current password and new password.
- Click Save.
Connect to Microsoft Teams
You can link your Kudos account with Microsoft Teams to receive notifications and send recognition directly in Teams.
